California Southern Coast
Starting in the streets of LA, driving north along Highway 1 - Pacific Coast Highway, through arid canyons flowing into the Pacific Ocean. The highway winds through ritzy suburbs and picturesque ocean views.
California ​​​​​​​Northern Coast
From San Francisco the coastline gets more remote. It winds along vertigo inducing cliffs, seaside meadows and tidal rock formations. 
Oregon Seaside to Astoria
Into Oregon the coastline starts to open up again and become more populated as pristine seashore become dotted by resorts and sand dunes.
Washington Olympic Peninsula to Seattle
Crossing the Columbia River into Washington state the landscape changes again as the highway enters the temperate rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula.
